10 Child Stars That Became Extremely Hot

The years between 10 and 16 are often the awkward years when your face and body are still trying to grow into what they will be when you’re older, which means living with too large ears, too big a nose, and skin that looks like it’s been worked over with a cheese grater. When you look at hot celebs, you probably don’t think much about what they looked like when they were young, except if those celebs were child stars who have been around for many years. However, the good news is that you couldn’t predict what they would look like as adults based on their appearance as teenagers, and in the cases of the stars below, all of them became double-take attractive.

Keshia Knight Pulliam

Pulliam is known for playing Rudy Huxtable on the 1980s comedy hit “The Cosby Show.” As Rudy, Pulliam was a mix of cute and sassy, and she often stole the scenes she was in with much older and more experienced co-stars. Pulliam, 36, has blossomed into an attractive, confident woman who continues to act in movies and on television shows. Pulliam was only five when she won the role of Rudy, and she appeared on the show for its entire eight-year run.

Pulliam has appeared in movies such as “Beauty Shop” and “Madea Goes To Jail,” and is a regular on Tyler Perry’s TV show “House of Payne.” She was also a contestant on Donald Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice,” from which she was fired in the first week when she refused to call Cosby for a donation. Pulliam runs Kamp Kizzy Foundation, a charitable organization that mentors youth in Atlanta, GA. Pulliam has received numerous awards for her nonprofit endeavors.

Miko Hughes

Hughes, 29, was one of the biggest child stars of the 1980s and 90s, appearing in movies such as “Pet Sematary,” “Mercury Rising,” “Kindergarten Cop,” and “Apollo 13.” With his big eyes and winning smile, Hughes could always be counted on to melt hearts and create sympathy, but as he grew out of that cuteness, he transformed into a good-looking man who doesn’t look that much like that winsome kid. He looks more like a model and an actor who could have the opportunity to attract a legion of female fans. Hughes started acting when he was two years old, and he has nearly 60 acting credits on his resume.

Hughes took a sabbatical for a few years in the 90s, then returned with a role in the TV series “Roswell,” which was about aliens living among normal people. His other TV appearances include “Boston Public,” “Veronica Mars” and “The Bill Engvall Show.” He also released two albums in the mid 90s.
